Comprobar la capacidad de una tarjeta SD

f3 Atención que con esta prueba se puede borrar todo el contenido de la tarjeta:

f3probe --destructive --time-ops /dev/nombre/dispositivo

Recuperar datos disco Windows

Detectamos los discos disponibles:

fsarchiver probe simple
fsarchiver probe -v
#[=====DEVICE=====] [==FILESYS==] [=====LABEL=====] [====SIZE====] [MAJ] [MIN]
#[/dev/sda1 ] [ntfs ] [Windows-XP ] [ 25.00 GB] [ 8] [ 1]
#[/dev/sda5 ] [ntfs ] [Data ] [ 120.00 GB] [ 8] [ 5]
#[/dev/sda6 ] [ntfs ] [Backup ] [ 70.00 GB] [ 8] [ 6]

Accedemos a la partición correcta:

mkdir /mnt/win
# Para montar un disco sólo lectura:
ntfs-3g -o ro /dev/sdXN /mnt/win
# Para montar un disco lectura/escritura:
mount -t ntfs /dev/sdXN /mnt/win

Para copiar los datos podemos utilizar rsync:

rsync -ha --no-i-r --info=progress2 ruta/de/origen ruta/de/destino

Desmontamos los discos y finalizamos:

umount /mnt/win
shutdown -h now

Listar puertos SATA

dmesg | grep -i sata | grep 'link up'

Recuperar datos de disco duro

HDDSuperClone

Attach to a PC, run a recovery Ubuntu and use testdisk and photorec to restore files, even if partition is busted.

I recovered 200K pictures (25y of family stuff) for a customer recently.

EDIT: forgot to mention, before all the above, i used ddrescue to make an image from the disk (as it had corrupt sectors) and then i worked on the image (which was much faster too)
